EC Follow Along
Employment Follow Along is a service provided to persons served who have successfully met their employment goals and no longer have on going service recommendations in their training plans.
This service provides, at a minimum, once a year follow-up for as long as the individual requests the service and/or remains at the same place of employment. This service also provides skill training to accommodate for changes in the work environment, including promotions.
The Employment Specialist is responsible for providing annual follow-ups and to respond to any request for assistance by the individual or the employer to save a job or employment site.If the individual’s life has changed where the need of ongoing supports becomes necessary it is the responsibility of the Employment Specialist to seek alternative services. This service is only provided to an individual as long as they remain at the same place of employment. The purpose for this service is to ensure long term success for the individual and the employer.
