Supervised Living locations are staffed by DSNWK employees. Staff supervision, health services and active treatment services are provided to those with around the clock needs in ICF/MR homes located in Norton and Russell. A unique component of DSNWK’s living settings is a home for those who are medically fragile and in need of twenty-four hour medical support and assistance. Supports offered in this home include but are not limited to gastric tube feedings, medication administration, dietary services, occupational/physical therapy, and a track lift with a sling used for lifting and transferring that encompasses the entire house. Some of the individualized services provided by Supervised Living, and ICF/MR homes, include teaching and support in the following: daily living skills; finances; transportation; problem solving, and recreation. Additional specialized services may include nursing, dietary, psychological services, positive behavior support, speech, and occupational and physical therapy services. |
