While specific services vary from location to location, Employment Connections generally provides these core services:

EC Logo1. Assessment
2. Training
3. Job Placement
4. Job Retention
5. Support Services

Employment Connections provides job development, job training and long term supports to individuals who need assistance to find and to maintain competitive employment. The employment staff make contact with local businesses in the county to stay current in the labor market and the labor needs of the local businesses. A successful placement must not only meet the employment needs of the individual we serve but fill the employment needs of the business.

Once the Employment staff identify a successful match with individual skill and employer need, the one-on-one training begins. The Employment staff remain at the placement site until the individual learns the required job duties and social skills required in the business environment. Once both the employer and the individual are satisfied with the quality of work the employment staff begin the fading process.
