Developmental Services has created the Business of My Own, which meets to review submitted Business Plans, evaluate their viability and develop plans to assist the individuals.
The Business of My Own has the ability to assist in locating start-up money, locate or provide technical assistance and marketing assistance.
They also can initiate contacts with other interested parties which may provide long term services such as purchasing, accounting and quality control services.
The Business of My Own will assist in the initial stages of starting a business. However, the long term operations of the business will be the responsibility of the individuals served, their parents or guardians and other interested persons.
