Business of My Own works with individuals who want to start their own business and helps them to increase their chances for success by showing them how to explore and evaluate their potential business and personal goals. This information is then used to build a well-thought-out business plan that will help them reach these goals.

Business of My Own then assists individuals by reviewing their submitted Business Plans. These plans include their business description and forms for both financial and technical assistance. This plan becomes a valuable tool as individuals set out to raise money for their business. It also provides milestones to gauge their success.

Individuals who fill out a business plan are asked to include a description of their business, their financial requirements and assistance needed, as well as the amount of technical assistance that will be required.
