Business of My Own (BOMO) is a program designed to expand employment opportunities for individuals served by Developmental Services of NorthwestKansas through establishing their own business. The BOMO assists the individuals by reviewing their submitted Business Plans. These plans include their business description and forms for both financial and technical assistance.

BOMO LogoDSNWK created the Business of My Own for those individuals who have a strong desire to develop their own business and are willing to take on the responsibility that comes with running a business. They must also have an interest in being self-employed or have a desire to develop a hobby into a money making venture. Businesses can range from a one person owned business to a business owned by multiple partners.

DSNWK’s Employment Connections also provides Business of My Own programming for Vocational Rehabilitation referrals.
